OK so i thought the Mercury prize award was one of them best awards within the industy to win for album. This year what a fail, she sold less then 3,000 albums most where bought after she was in the very strong caterogy, LIKE HOW????????????? can she beat some of the indusrtys big names at the minute anyway i am not going to rant about this, but i was gobsmacked i was in st ablans at the time of the awards but when the phone call came thru (i have my sources) i was beyond shock luckly i had a bottle of vodka in hand to drown my sorrows away ok i will really stop ranting now.

ReplyDeleteI for one agree this year she was up against some brillant talent, just a shame she won the mecury and the mobo's where her music belongs, however i do agree that she may benfit more then the other acts.
