Countdown to the Isle Of Wight Festival 2009!

Yes finally the summer is gonna land in face of beer tenting, I don't care abouts the sun all i keep thinking about is beer, music, beer with many festivals lined up for myself the first one real one of the summer (as in camping and that) Is Isle of wight this is my first time at IOW with the past line ups being pretty rock n roll so myself and the drunks decided to hurry to buy our tickets thinking that they where like all the other festivals selling out in like 24hours, but no some tickets still available with 10days to go, no surprise really have you seen the line up?

OK so i am soo excited to see Prodigy (again) never have i enjoyed such good loud music with pure sweat marks ever, highly recommend to all them dirty ravers out there, the buzz is emazing. Saturday yeah no one really up that makes me wanna go yes so seeing them, may go dash look at White Lies (again) part from that not much worth hanging for. Sunday wow Pixies OMG Pixies true legends in my eyes, Feel it will be a massive drunken sing along everyone holding hands peace signs. I did mention to the pals that i was so digging dressing up as a chav like full head to toe in tracksuits, caps, gold chains to go 'jam' to Goldielookinchain, was firmly refused. Dammit. I think i have an inner self that whats to not wear the tightness of skinny jeans and go completely large on the over so squashed legs of mime. Friends. Not. Having. It.

Friday worse thing ever laid eyes ON EVER!!. Who are they? Something my 11year old sister would find entertaining, me no thanks ever. Saturday also dodgy McFly really? Fit yes Music no thanks. Will Young my nans owns albums, me no thanks. Calvin Harris will hopefully be seeing (again) I do like Calvin thou last time i saw him pretty hand the crowd going pure bonkers my friend said it was like 'spanking her pantys moment' (Hannah Gold!!) Maccabees Prob will catch (again), the rest who are they and where is the music? Sunday is pure rocky emo, me likes very much i have seen the Horrors before not seen them since the master new album came out, so looking forwarding to them. The rest i have heard about never seen any of them live so finally be able to see some new bands.

With another 3 tents include the Bowtime Bar that my favourite band The Rogues are playing, yes mentioned them so many times before, but i love them. The Rogues are currently being filmed by the BBC go the journey to Glastonbury OMG, so happy for them never have i wanted so much for one band truly deserve. Will be known as the next big band to come for Harrow after Kate Nash, scouting for girls, the modelz, the natives, tapedeck just to name drop a few. Wow must move on could talk about the rogues all day long right The Hipshaker is also another tent for a Motown, soul bit of jazz, may just pass on this one unless it music is blaring at 5am and the drunks have nothing to do will go jazz.

Finally is the Ray-ban rooms. Yes love my Ray-bans. Best money ever spent. Hope i get free ones. Doubt it. Will dream. Still dreaming.

Pretty much know all them 'names'. Will be the time spent away from the all pop kids IE McFly fans and such and such.

Could this duo really be the British Crystal Castle? I think so.
As a massive Crystal Castle fan i was overjoyed to come across these guys. Every tune that that i listen to them i find myself jumping around uncontrollable and the beat just kinda hits in the you face. I don't think they are are better then Crystal Castles at all, but come very close. I have seen Alice kick some ass on stage like actually kick/punch fans in the face while performing, now that's hardcore stuff.
YLHCSD did actually win the Indy Awards for 'Best Electronica Act 2008' with 2009 planning on being they biggest year yet already signed to Kitsuné what more can you ask for?

It is Sunday the day of rest and wow i am total merked out right now, massive black panda eyes, lipstick all over my arm/hands (don't ask). I really must take make up off before heading to the light of the over so cosy bed, never happens so just cant ask and with the ringing alarms in your ears first thing is too plank out unless someone is willing to make a robot that automatically takes make-up off before bed, god that would amazing anyway friday saw me partying hard at the arches in london, massive night with the lights of A1 Bassline, A-Trak, Rye Rye, blah blah with the rest with the rumour of man of the moment Asher Roth was knocking about, never saw him but i did think that i was seeing random people who where not actually them. i blame the drink mega spaced out got in around 7ish i believe well according to my twitter update that is. Saturday also bought a pretty heavy night at an illegal underground rave AMAZING. I also find that the illegal raves are always way more up for it then having a rave in a club, don't get me wrong i enjoy going to a club, but where else are you gonna find a bunch of drug takers getting completely high without being chucked out for smoking or pill popping and stuff, pretty much out in the open. The air on your face when you leave is like heavy i guess that's what prison is like, don't actually know but i guess having a bit of air is some good kinda high.

Anyway............Just wanted to drop the Example video for hooligans teaming up with Don Diablo reckon this is gonna BLOW UP within the next few weeks. OK so as a kiddie i was a massive eminem fan like really massive like maybe more then massive like in a stalker kinda way i liked the way how he bought me 'problems' with my family, 'no mum i am not washing up' bang upstairs eminem on full blast just to cause that teenager tension with my mum.I don't really know what it was about ems but i never actually like rap/hip hop as a kiddie i was all about S Club 7 and steps besides him. I loved the way how he added such humour even into the darker songs and still there was a sense of humour. He never used to come across as to what other 'rappers' used to do he never used to talk about like getting a 'bitch to suck his massive cock' or a bout fucking a massive ass (ok lie he did, but still) don't get me wrong in Eminem world, all women are whores and he is eager to rape and murder them but most women are whores, he probably has never even had a normal relationship so in his opinions he is right to slate as this is what he feels. As a girl we have all sat there and thought about boys being a bunch of utter bloody cocks, it is the same thing really,but eminem write about it. You know his not had an normal life compared to myself and many others, yeah my life has not been straight forward but like has your mum ever sued you? image your mum reading your hate diary (we all had them)and then thinking god i am suing my daughter/ son for damages? no, ems songs are basically a public diary of his life. As with his his wife cheating on him if you saw you partner cheating on you your not gonna stand there and do nothing are you? no, first thing to do is go smack the other person in the face and abuse them, ems did just that. Ems was the first ever 'concert' (god i hate that word) i ever went to in 2003 i was like 13 YEARS OLD and they let me in yayyyyyy... At Milton Keynes bowls which for a lost confused 13year old god that so surreal, people drinking, doing drugs, fighting, bottle been threw someone trying to jack my wristband (tried and failed) seeing that made me realise that the music i blare out of bedroom had been heard by other millions of other guys. I still have the tickets tucked somewhere with the blue E hat and programme (mega fit photos), i remember singing along in my massive tacky blue trackie and Nike trainers to see girls actually breaking down when he came onto stage, never have i ever seen one man cause that much good tears,i was besotted by the man words cant express the amount of times i watched the tour DVDs that i had, i actually think i loved him, yet i had never actually met him or been within at least a few hundred people in front of me, to this day i don't think i will ever love a man as much as i loved him, and i never love no one i love lipsticks more then i do people. I have all albums but at this moment i am undusting them as i type this, i am a little scared that i am gonna be totally sucked into the eminem life again, i do think my mates would disown me if i hang my skinny jeans and band tees up for a blue tracksuit and Nike trainer, but i am BUYING his new album due out on the 19th May, i have been forwarded tons of links and I WILL NOT click on them, out of pure respect for Marshall, to make this album must have been a massive hard choice after declaring he was 'resting' but so much more troubles have happened to him from remarrying that twat of a Kim twat person rehab being addicted to sleeping pills, struggling with fame like how many more problems can one man. The guy that leaked the album should just go to hell, these album must have take a lot of thought and courage and some tossers decides to leak the new album that has got everyone buzzing about everyone's fave rapper. WHO ever did it should come to my house so my cat can rape you. I for one will be buying a hard copy to add to all my other ems collection.

The Maccabees are BACK!!!

The Maccabees are back and about riddle time, missed them very much so like more then i would totally miss my hair in the winter (no cold neck for me, Yay). After the longest 2years in time in i am very pleased to say how bloody proud of the new sound of the maccabees. They have ditched the cheery, youthful lyrics and gone for a the darker and deeper mature sound, for the longing waited second album Wall Of Arms. With lyric like ''If you've got no kind words to say, you should say nothing more at all,'' i think they are spot on here i am secretly hoping that is for all the haters who ditched them as yet another myspace generation kinda band from Kate Nash to Jack Penate ( second albums also due out). To be fair i am all for bands using social networking sites to totally whore them selves out to sell records, as most of the pages are actually ran by the airsts themselves and not someone from the record label. I believe it gives the airsts the right to hear the opinions for the people that actually matter the paying fans.

The more you listen the more you get the feel and deepness on what Orlando Weeks' is trying to get across and I SAY A MUST HAVE ALBUM OF THE MONTH and who knows maybe my favorite album of the year, but 5months into 2009 to give them that title is well unfair to all the mighty other albums that will come out of the wood work for me to hate/love.

Oh this morning i was gutted to find out that i had ate all my smarties the night before, but find 2 in my hair, never been so excited in my hungry life.

Music in the 80s

OK OK i will admit it i have a very high strong sense love for the 80s. I have been called a 80s throwback at one point in my life. I am always looking in the vintage stores thinking wow the guys in breakfast club would have loved this outfit. However nowadays it has the modern twist of the dark 'punk' era involved and i like very much soo.
I am totally in love with two bands that my mum would have been throwing her knickers at if they where in the 80s very Duran Duran style.

So i have blogged about these guys before and i will blog them again but these time a video comes along to back my opinion on them. I found out about these guys at my local hung place trinity in Harrow NW London, feel in love amazing buzz about these guys at the moment airplay includes Radio one, XFM, Radio 6, NME, Q plus many more to date yet i think they still remain unsigned. Rogues first single 'Not so pretty' was released by 50bones record the guys behind Little Boots, so lets hope only good things can happen to them.

My other favourite 80s influenced band at this moment in time is The virgins
So you may have heard of them or not if your from America then yes you swines you are more likely then a brit to have heard of them. I am totally in love with them at the moment i have managed to catch them twice and still gunning down for more London dates. When i hear them i go in a dreamy mode and at times feel like i am at a America school pool party getting wasted with quirky shiny hipsters , utter cheese i know but i like these mode.

Summer Summer Summer time !!!

Guys sooo sorry i have been away for so long, you know i have had some cat raping crimes to solve, i think i passed as a police officer as i solved no crime.
Anyways............Summer time is upon the lights of myself and other drunken, music dirty face fans will be taking to many cow beds for the next few months, that's right the festival period is here, god about bloody time i get to indulge in my inner dirt bitch mood, no showers, sitting on piss, rolling in mud, vodka fingers,utter zombie mode and being an utter fuck face for 5days straight with no wink of 'weirdness' of pointing for a weekend worth of make up sat very tightly on my face as all the others will be sharing the same experience as you. It does annoy me thou well you go to a festival and there will always be a group of little 'it' girls, complaining abouts the cold, hair, clothes, mud etc..... not being funny but don't go to a festival ever if them things bother you already then don't go simple as that.Nowadays it seems that everyone has to have the 'correct' festival look ranging from the Kate moss

to the Alexa Chung pixie geldof etc but why is festivals now being a cool thing to be seen at? that's the question i would really like to know, don't get me wrong i enjoy my fashion, but never will i dare wear clothes from top shop/h&m as every other chick will have the same outfit on as you, trust first year i was actually wearing the whole top shop 'festival look' aka Kate Moss look never will i do these again, would strongly advice on shopping online for band tees very unlikely you will have the 'god that's the 4th chick today in the same top,My festival look nowadays is pretty much over sized (unknown band tee, sleeves cropped off with a flash of a neon bra underneath teamed with the over so mainstream skinny jeans/ demin shorts or a nice little tee dress always wear tights you never know when your gonna get knocked down in a mosh pit, i should know last year i was in the middle of watching rage against the machine, then bang massive mosh pit was circling around me, yep that's right i got tramped on flashed the knickers, but i did get helped up my some ever mac fitty lads yum...Festivals are also a brilliant way of seeing bands you have already seen live/ never seen live before and of course bands you have never heard off, i remember very drunkenly walking past the lock up tent at reading 2008 to catch the end of the gallows set amazing live made me go straight onto itunes when i got back home, don't get me wrong i had heard of them before but never really connected with them but catching them live totally changed my opinion on them.
If you cant handle any drunken behaviour then leave on the Sunday night i would highly recommend these, Sundays get very messy, i have been involved in the bad drama but if you cant handle a snuffle then camp in the quieter zones, otherwise if you see the hair come say HI !!! i don't bite but the unwashed hair/face may.
